Early Intervention Services

An intervention is a combination of programs to produce effective changes or improve overall health status of the baby. The type, duration and outcome of intervention depend upon the age, type, and severity of the defect. The intervention is specific for each type of defect, and it is specific for each child.

Why Early Intervention?
Neuro plasticity is the ability of the brain to change and adapt with experience. As the brain growth is enormous during the first three years, intervention procedures in this period help the brain to acquire the required functions and hit milestones. With early intervention the child’s disabilities can be prevented or minimized. The child can be made to achieve normal potential or near normal potential of development. It will be cost effective for parents and family.
